Considering that male warframe was first, and a new female warframe was last (and they are added in a pattern of male-female-male-female), there's exactly the same amount of males as there are females.

In games where you get to create your character, I always choose male simply because I'm a guy myself and it just feels natural. In Warframe it isn't a problem at all, since your character is Tenno and you get to choose their gender, while warframe is more or less just another weapon you wield.

Best for beginners is either Mag at the start, or Valkyr from Jupiter :) also while you're probably memeing, it's okay to want a female frame as close to the start as you can!! Reasons vary, and could include gender disparity, euphoria from being able to be pretty/feminine, or literally just you want booty.
